The bonding equipment combines the wireless communication channels of carriers (cellular and other networks) according to a certain algorithm. Data is transmitted simultaneously over multiple channels, collected on an aggregation server that has broadband Internet access, and goes to its destination.
The response is returned according to the same scheme: from Internet to aggregation server, then aggregated communication channels of several operators are collected on the aggregator. Beyond the coverage area of any operator, the aggregator instantly assesses the situation and distributes traffic to the working channels of other operators. This approach ensures a very high reliability of the connection. Traffic redistribution is performed invisibly to the user.
Parallelization of data transmission over multiple communication channels increases the total throughput capacity of the bonding router.

The bonding device can work without server using simplified algorithm. In this case, the possibilities are slightly limited, but even in this case there is a gain in transmission speed and communication steadiness.

As part of any solution, there are mandatory elements produced by AVG Wireless Solutions: the bonding device and specialized software. Other devices (standard switches, routers, modems, etc.) can be purchased separately or bundled with our solution. We can provide specific recommendations regarding the best price-quality ratio as well as the availability of supplies. As an aggregation server, you can use any standard server on which we will install specialized control software.
